Kathleen’s Bio

Kathleen GubitosiHi! I’m Kathleen Gubitosi!

I am an award-winning business woman, performing artist, music educator, voice strategist and metaphysical practitioner. The cornerstone of my work is The Magic of Voice Alchemy ™, a holistic approach to voice health and personal/professional image enhancement.

I am also the daughter of music professionals and entrepreneurs. As a little girl, I did my homework sitting on the floor behind the sales counter in my family’s business, Medford Music House. I know the hard work, long hours, juggling to do list, and feast or famine like atmosphere that is part and parcel of an emerging entrepreneur’s life as I’ve lived it almost all of mine.

Today, I guide emerging and established performers, business leaders and heart-centered entrepreneurs to set their sacred message free and deeply connect with their ideal audience at home, at work, and on stage, by channeling the most potent gift on earth, their voices.

How did I go from being a performing artist and music educator to a voice strategist, energy worker and feminine power guide?

It started with an incredible twist of fate; a near death experience due to autoimmune disease, then two years later an accident that put a premature end to my singing, teaching and performing career.

My command of outer voice is what got me successfully through job interviews when I had to start over in a new non-musical industry. Once I was “in the door”, my voice, business experience and professional stage presence, carried me through the ranks of corporate promotion in an industry I learned from the ground up.

Trust in my inner voice is what spurred me to keep going when I was told I’d never sing or perform again.  My outer voice did not waiver as I stood in my power, listened to my inner voice, and against the odds regained my health and redesigned my career.

The bottom line for me is if I hadn’t been strong enough to align my inner and outer voice through these challenges, I’d be living quite a different life; at the very least, you wouldn’t be reading this page.

Building that alignment not only saved my life, it allowed me, years later, to return to performing albeit on a smaller scale.

Voice is the most often overlooked aspect of every day health and wellness and it’s an extremely difficult part to reclaim after injury. I believe many women (and men) are in need of support in finding and following their own voice be it physically, emotionally or spiritually.

In show biz they call an entertainer who is equally gifted as an actor, dancer and singer a triple threat. My background in classical voice, dance and theater, success in corporate life as a training professional, business development officer and leader of sales teams, my lifelong experience of entrepreneurship, combined with my metaphysical and spiritual training, and my holistic approach to freeing your true voice is unheard of in the marketplace.

Voice Alchemy is a mixture of all of my skills pulled together to produce maximum results almost immediately. Voice Alchemy is as unique as each client. All of my programs are customized to the client’s individual needs.

What sparks me is seeing others bloom. Watching the petals of creativity open and whole beings emerge.

My clients are mostly women but I do also work with men and they have been some of my biggest success stories. I enjoy speaking to civic and business organizations about Voice Alchemy. Please click here to access my speaker sheet. All programs can be customized by audience and industry.

I look forward to speaking with you and finding out how I may be of service. Click here to contact me.

Best wishes for success on your path!

When not on stage, I can be found making the best of my organizational skills by managing herds of performers, calling cues through the headset, and, on occasion, aiming a spotlight.

I am proud to say that many of my music students have been recognized as All Eastern Region Honors Musicians and gone on to win music scholarships while pursuing non-musical areas of study such as law and medicine, others have gone on to become professional musicians and teachers of the arts.
