I am a performing artist, teacher, and coach who has served the central Long Island area for over 25 years. My studio offers music lessons for all ages. I am also available as a soloist for special events.
The daughter of music professionals; I began my career as a part-time, traveling teacher for the Medford Music House providing lessons in Patchogue and Medford.
An accomplished singer/dancer/pianist, I am an avid performer working with several not-for-profit theaters and libraries in the NY Metro area.
I believe in giving back to my community and frequently lend my talents to various organizations, among these are Habitat for Humanity of Nassau County and The Robin Sue Ward School for Exceptional Children; as well as promoting live theater through my work with The Beautiful Soup Theater Collective, The Star Playhouse at The Suffolk Y JCC, Creative Ministries Performing Arts Center and Township Theater Group.
I have repeatedly had the honor of singing the National Anthem at the Farmingdale State College commencement ceremony and I am the featured vocalist on several original recordings by Long Island jazz composer, Wade E. Mann.
When not on stage, I can be found making the best of my organizational skills by managing herds of performers, calling cues through the headset, and, on occasion, aiming a spotlight.
I am a graduate of both Hofstra University and Stony Brook University. Specializing in voice, piano, and guitar, I have prepared many students for NYSSMA, SCMEA, College and professional auditions. I am proud to say that several of my students have gone on to become professional musicians and teachers of the arts.
