2018 has been a whirlwind! So much has happened. So many new blessings, people, places, projects, have graced my life. I am truly grateful that you have been a part of it. Thank you for reading my posts and welcoming me into the sacred space of your life.
My reflections on 2018, the magical 11 year that it has been, goes deeper as my own personal year was a 7. A 7 personal year is one of deep inner work, introspection, alone time and spiritual development are big themes as well as aligning with nature and being a guide and catalyst of the growth of others.
2018 presented a lot of opportunities to raise my visibility and increase my sphere of influence. I think back to January when I was welcoming in new possibilities. I posted a visualization on my blog about the precious grace-filled state of being “in between”. It was very well received and so I share a link to it at the end of this post.
When I started 2018 grounded in my voice work and metaphysical studies, I never imagined that I would end 2018 as a contributing author to an international best selling anthology. It’s a bit of an irony that my contribution to a book for women, by women was filled with guideposts from the change making men in my life.
The opportunity to join SHINE! Stories to Inspire You to Dream Big, Fear Less and Blaze Your Own Trail came on the birthday of a former teacher and mentor, who in his loving compassionate way, refused to let me hide my light under a bushel and as a result my voice and life have bloomed in unimaginable ways. The another sign that this was the right road was that the date to accept the invitation to attend the “Sacred Visibility Live” author gathering was my Dad’s birthday, truly a sign from the universe! The book release date was the birthday of one of my closest friends growing up. The author conference would be held on another close friend’s birthday. When I was doubtful and having attacks of nerves, I leaned on loving guidance from one of my dearest friends who is a writer and poet.
I had plenty of feminine support along the way too! My Mom, my Shine Soul Sisters, my sister, my niece, my dear girlfriends who listened to me chatter on about the project, my new friends, new clients and new programs, are a blessing that cannot be measured!
I’m mentioning my male influences and support network because all to often in the modern spiritual realm, as the Goddess culture and feminine empowerment rise after years of patriarchy, we lose sight of the many wonderful men in our lives and in seeking integration often remain unbalanced. Transformation is a dance of duality, creation and integration my Alchemist friends.
